My husband took my puff & I out to eat!

After a good trim my puff has fluff!

I'm on a date with my husband and decided to wear my hair in a "puff."  Yeah, I took a quick call but after that he had my undivided attention.

My cousin's big chop and a full 12 months of growth... watch her rock her natural tresses down the aisle.

Big chopped and ready to roll!

First day fully natural watch out!!!

Yep, that's me in the middle all grown out.

My wedding rehearsal, time to focus.

Should I press it out for my wedding day?

I don't know!!!!

I'm just going to enjoy some cake and think on it...

Gotcha... I wouldn't dream of hiding my curls for this big event!

Flat twist in the front, defined curls in the back... I'm ready for my groom.

Natural hair is beautiful for every occasion!

Update photos...it's been a minute!

Trimmed hair and finally able to do a wash n go instead of a wash n went!

My naturally beautiful family!

Had to show  my Tina Turner doo.

My signature style... twist out 3 yrs in the making.

Giving hair a rest, knitted caps are the best...sounds like a cheer, right!

Not to flattering of a photo but we all have days like this. Hair, well not sure if this is a twist out or a twist in, in need!

Rocking mini twists with a cap, which means the top is not done so threw on cap to camoflage. Finished last section the next day.

Are you loving your hair today?

Went to a cookout today, and was surprised to be in a room full of natural ladies. As I mentioned it was a cookout so humid, hot weather was all among us. Each of us were rocking our unique style: press n curl, mini-two strand twist, wash n go, up do all styles were modeled eloquently. It was amazing because all of us were sporting our own locks and showed the versatility of natural hair.

Getting used to the “not so” tame hair.

Looking at my 2 week old twists, which are long enough to pull in a ponytail(Thank God) I see hair that has texture, not the smooth ponytail where the hair lays flat.  Getting used to this look is easier some days than others.  I am used to my twist out, my wash n go, my other “defined” curly styles.  However,  now that my twist are longer, sometimes it is nice to pull them back in a style.  This works great when the twist are fresh, moisturized and shiny.  But on those days when the twist are old, dry and in need of attention to pull them back in any style and leave the house is sometime uncomfortable.  Solution: DO YO HAIR, I know but I just need a couple of more days due to a full schedule.  So on those days I have to say, “embrace your hair as is.”  Love the hair God gave you!!!
